Sex and the over-60s

In this article (*) the autor arging  that older people are living longer and healthier than ever as long as they continue having sex.

The author Nora Ephron, who has written about aging, says that if you are lucky enough to have sex beyond 60 years, probably will not have the same kind of sex they had in the 20s. This is probably true, but does not mean that sex is worse at this age. Some Gransnetters say have the best time of their lives.

Menopause, according to Gloria Steinem, can give women a new unity and trust. "What we lose in those years of menopause is all we needed to support another person," he argues. Sex, for most people, lining up at some point, though there is little agreement on the timing or the rate of decline. For some, it may stop suddenly in a holiday otherwise unremarkable, while others have every intention of continuing until the end of his days and less frequently states that does not always mean less intense.

Increased longevity and better health means a stage of life never seen before now there is: a middle-aged long: as competent and interested in sex. The novelty of what it means that very little is known about the erotic possibilities - but it is likely to be as varied as any other group, and probably more.
